Newcastle to York

The Newcastle to York route is roughly 80 miles in length and features period accurate scenery which can be enjoyed while driving one of three authentic trains included. Fully functional rolling stock ready to operate along the route include the Class 55 ‘Deltic’ and Class 47 Diesel Locomotives, as well as the famous High Speed Train in the original colour scheme when first introduced to the UK network. The route's period is set in during when freight traffic was at an all time high due to nearby coal reserves and the North's abundance of industrial and manufacturing based commerce. Also included is a full rake of authentic Mk2 coaches, the HAA merry-go-round coal hopper and PCA Presflo Powder Hopper. Screenshots
